Goldie offers a seamless payment experience through its integration with Stripe, allowing you to manage various payment methods efficiently. However, when it comes to sending invoices to customers, there are some specifics you should know.
Payment Methods and Invoicing
- Payment Link: Goldie provides an invoice for online payments when using a payment link. This allows clients to pay securely via the link sent directly to them.
- Tap to Pay & Card Reader: Goldie also generates an invoice for in-person transactions using Tap to Pay or card readers. This ensures that clients receive documentation of their transactions.
- Cash Payments: Unfortunately, Goldie cannot generate or send invoices for cash payments as these transactions do not involve digital processing through Stripe.
Requirements for Receiving Invoices
To ensure that your customers receive invoices via email:
- Email Address Requirement: An email address must be added to the client's profile in Goldie. Without this information, invoices cannot be sent electronically.
- Stripe Integration Setup: Ensure that your Stripe account is set correctly within Goldie by following the setup instructions provided in the app's support resources
