Goldie gives you complete control over what each team member can see and do inside the app; therefore, you can easily tailor each role's access to fit your workflow.
1. What Staff Roles are available?
Owner (full access to everything)
Manager
Receptionist
Service Provider
Restricted Service Provider
Each role has different default permissions, but you can easily customize them to meet your specific needs.
2. Customizing Role Permissions
To view or edit permissions for each role:
Go to Settings → Staff Permissions
Tap on the role you want to customize.
Use the toggles to enable or disable specific actions.
Tap Save when you're done.
3. Available Permissions (By Role)
Manager
Managers can have access to almost every feature except subscription, payment settings, and owner-level permissions. You can toggle:
Manage all appointments
Manage services (add, edit, delete)
Manage products (add, edit, delete)
Manage clients (add and edit; does not include delete)
Delete clients
Manage waitlist entries
Manage waitlist settings
Manage messages (templates, sending method) in Settings
Manage expenses (add, edit, delete)
Gift cards
Access to Reports
Manage marketing (discounts, mass massages, social media post generator)
View payments dashboard
Take payments
Manage staff members (add, edit, delete)
Manage forms
Edit some business settings (booking website, business details, regional settings)
Configure notifications for business / all users
Receptionist
Receptionists can:
View and manage all appointments
Manage client info (excluding delete)
Handle waitlist entries
Take payments for appointments
They cannot access business settings.
Service Provider
Service providers can:
Manage their own appointments
Edit assigned client info (excluding delete)
Handle waitlist entries
Take payments for appointments
They cannot see other team members’ calendars or access business settings.
Restricted Service Provider
Ideal for limited access needs. They can:
Only view appointment price
Optionally manage their own appointments (if enabled)
They cannot access client contact details or any other business data.
